Norman E. Tucker II, 71, passed away peacefully at his home Thursday, January 5, 2017.

He grew up the son of Ruth Ann and Norm Tucker with his brother Brian in Terre Haute, Indiana. Norm was a 1963 graduate of Schulte High School. He attended Indiana State University.
He worked for Hubill Power Systems Inc. in sales for many years.

Norm was an car enthusiast, and you could find him many evenings in his garage restoring vintage sport cars. Norm and his wife belonged to numerous car clubs throughout their lives, and Norm was known to befriend anyone he met. One of his many hobbies was boating. It is there he found his love for the water. Norm found his peace going to the ocean and enjoyed traveling with Sherry to Florida frequently. He was a lieutenant of the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department .

Norm is survived by his wife, Sherry Hanger Tucker, daughters, Tracey Tucker and Tricia Tucker Grady (Chris), and granddaughter Delaney Grady, his father, Norman E. Tucker, and his brother Brian (Nancy) Tucker.
Friends and family may visit from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN  46250.  A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.

    Sherry – Deborah and I are so very sorry to hear the news of Norm’s passing. I still have great memories of us both going thru training together for the Washington Twp Fire Dept. God bless you and your family.
